About Us

Just over forty years ago, we made our “tree change” move from the city and bought a dairy farm in rural Forrest. This was a big learning curve for two city people with three children in tow but with grit and determination we made it work for us. Farming was a great lifestyle choice for us and although we no longer milk cows, we have no thought of leaving the area.

We love the community involvement , we love the bushland that surrounds us, and we love the sense of belonging to a small rural town.

In the last few years we decided to build a bed and breakfast onto our home so others can visit our beautiful region and share our “piece of paradise”.

Our Breakfast

We offer our guests a full cooked country-style breakfast with locally sourced produce where possible and our own free-range eggs. While we are not cordon bleu chefs, we can whip up a super breakfast –whether you choose our light-as-air buttermilk pancakes, our yummy cheesy scrambled eggs, a delicious all fruit smoothie or a more exotic offering of smoked salmon and corn fritters. We are happy to provide gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options but please advise before you arrive

We bring your breakfast hot off the stove and freshly cooked to your suite at a time to suit so you can enjoy in the privacy of your accommodation.
